Hi all.. Well Easter is allmost over and time for work again.. Pff.. Yesterdag i finaly got the G5RV wire up and running. It has been laying in the garage for a while now, and now was the time to get it on the roof of the house.I maneged to install it as a inverted V. And is tuning perfectly in all bands from 80-10meters. beaming west and east..My wife and me are also home safely from Berlin/

Sooo whats up, well the weather is not for antenna work.So now im testing a Yaesu FT-1000 i maybe want to buy...Its a old and heavy machine, and takes alot of space on the table, but its a beutiful and realy fine radio... 200W from the radio, pff.. Well as i have spoken of some times, my new antenna system is going to be mounted saturday this weekend..A new ZX Yagi 4elements and a new Yaesu G-1000DXC Rotator is planned to be mounted on a new mast system on my house.. My rotator has finaly arrived, only to se that something was missing.Yea yea so i forgot to order extra mastclamps for polemast mount. :-/They are being ordered today..So now i only need the new masts to arrive, and my new mast system mounting is on the move..I got a fellow Dx'ers help with me this time... After some days in the sun and painting my house, it was time to search the netstores for the best price on the YAESU G-1000DXC.. A supportbearing was ordered also.. :)So now im hunting some 50mm masts.. To get the ZX up to at least 11m of the ground..

Well as some may know, i got myself a new antenna some months ago.The 4elm ZX-Yagi is laying in the garage, just to be placed on the roof.So a new rotator i needed, the one in use atm (the baby G250) cant handle the ZX.So the last months some money was saved, and the choice has fallen on the Yaesu G1000... Sooo now the only thing is, to rebouild the antenna from the 12meters to 11meters band...

Also today we have some thunderstorms in my area, lightning strikes have been heard allmost all day with signal 6- 9. Realy bad cuzz there some small propagation going on.. Mainly Central EU..Some danish stations (John DX101 who else ;) ) Listened 2div today...

After some days away from the radio, i turned it on today.And to my surprise 158div was very strong today. 158KP360 Mr. Barry was 5/8 here, many people calling him and it was hard to get a call in..Also some small signals from North America came in, but nothing workeble for me. :(Well hopely the weekend is giving us great propagation, i miss outsite EU for a change.. :)73's...

On the 15' of June Søren 47DX002 and I made the trip to Gavn Island to activate it for the first time on 11meters.This activation was part of the DXRC Island festival 08. It was a lot of fun and a good lesson for me, this was my first time on a small activation, i were for some time ago with Tom and Leif on 47DX/FY015 "Tåsinge Island".
